What the columns mean

Trains AI on chats. We say yes when the policy says your messages or content get used to train or improve their models. That includes "anonymized" use, because an anonymized late-night chat that mentions your hometown and your dog's name isn't very anonymous.

Ads / data sharing. Yes when they share personal data with advertising partners, run targeted ads, or "sell" or "share" data in the US privacy-law sense. Some apps split it: Replika shares website data with ad partners but says your chats never go there. The app pages have those details.

Delete your data. "In the app" means there's a button. "By request" means emailing them or filling in a form. Works too, just slower.

Age check. "Just asks" means a checkbox or a birthday field. A handful use ID, a selfie or a face scan. New laws are pushing more apps that way, see new laws.

What we can't see. A privacy policy is a promise. We can't look at their servers. But a written promise is the thing you can hold them to, so that's what we collect.
