If you have a favourite
- Look up who runs it. If the privacy policy doesn't name a company, there's nobody to complain to. The privacy check lists the company for every app.
- Think twice about yearly plans. No refunds plus a shutdown means the money's gone. The prices page has details.
- Save the chats that matter. Hardly any app has an export button. Screenshots are ugly, but they work.
- Use the link inside the app. When apps move, the old domains sometimes end up as lookalike sites or parking pages.
